Tracing the life of Pope Benedict XVI
Jun 1 USA - GERMANY. Board our
flight to Munich. Dinner & breakfast are served on-board
Jun 2 MUNICH. Upon arrival in
Munich, we are met and board our motor coach. We first visit the Church of
St. Martin. Afterwards, we see the Frauenkirche before dinner and
overnight at our hotel.
Jun 3 MUNICH - TRAUNSTEIN - ASCHAU - MARKTL - ALTOETTING.
After breakfast this morning, we drive through Traunstein for a panoramic tour
before continuing to Aschau. We enjoy a panoramic tour of this town where
the Pope attended primary school and received His Holy Communion. We
continue on to Marktl to visit the Pope's birthplace and the Church & Museum of
St. Oswald. Afterwards, we travel to Altoetting to visit the Shrine of Our
Lady, Chapel of Mercy, St. Konrad Church and the Basilica of St. Anna.
Dinner & overnight at our hotel.
Jue 4 ALTOETTING - HERRENCHIEMSEE - FRAUENCHIEMSEE.
Following a hot breakfast, we drive to Herrenchiemsee to embark on a boat ride
to Frauenchiemsee. There, we visit the Frauenchiemsee Monastery and
Church. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
 Jun 5 ALTOETTING - FREISING - REGENSBURG.
Depart for Freising after breakfast. We enjoy a panoramic tour of this
city and sights associated with Pope Benedict. We then proceed to
Regensburg to visit the home of the Ratzinger family. Dinner and overnight
at our hotel.

6 REGENSBURG. After breakfast, we spend the
morning visiting Regensburg's Cathedral and the University. The afternoon
is free at leisure for reflections or other pursuits on our own. Dinner
and overnight at our hotel.
Jun 7 REGENSBURG - MUNICH AIRPORT - USA.
Depart our hotel and proceed to the Munich airport for our return flight home -
the end of a most enjoyable pilgrimage.
